THE SUMMER IN BABY TEETH, THE SUMMER IN YOU 2007

We are gearing up for a fun summer. After a handful of shows in support of our new album, "The Simp", we are heading out on a proper tour at the end of June with The Redwalls ( myspace.com/theredwalls) and Robbers on High Street (robbersonhighstreet.com). The tour takes us through our beloved Midwest, and then out to visit our much-neglected cousin, the East Coast. click on our "shows" page for the skinny.

And new merchandise? You're damn right. our all-new American Apparel t-shirts are in, and early reports are that they look and feel great. Details coming soon on our "merch" page. You would look good in one.

Finally, we are about to lift the curtain on a brand-new project that we need your help on. It's called "52 Songs". Every week, I'm gonna post a new demo that I'm submitting to the band for possible inclusion on future Baby Teeth records. I'm very interested in hearing what you have to say about it as well. Comments, ratings, the whole nine. crazy as it may sound, I'm gonna keep this up for a whole year. We're hoping to launch this feature on or around July 4th, so stay tuned.

HELLO AGAIN, and WELCOME TO THE NEW BABYTEETHMUSIC.COM!

The waiting is (almost) over: Baby Teeth releases The Simp on March 13, 2007. It's an album on which we truly "left it all on the floor", as your basketball coach might say. In other words, it's BT loving you to the max, with strings, horns, and, yes, guitars. Which leads us to another exciting announcement. We are proud to introduce a new member to our live lineup. Our good friend Michael Lyons (Violins, Andy Pratt, The Human Hearts) has taken the reins as BT's first-ever guitarist. We'll be promoting The Simp as a four-piece with lots of spring shows <click here for dates>, including a huge CD release party at Schuba's in Chicago on Saturday, March 17. As always, the new record will be available through lujorecords.com or your favorite internet retailer
(insound.com, emusic.com, or itunes.com , to name a few).
